Some of you may have seen the Vice President's testimony given to both the House and the Senate. Some may have only heard about it, waiting to catch up with the previously recorded testimony on CSpan, or read some of the various articles that will be reporting on todays events. Like this one.
"Al Gore apparently had a few free minutes in his schedule as he made his way across Capitol Hill in between committee hearings today, so he dropped by the House chamber for a brief visit.
A standing ovation, from the Democrats, and a sustained measure of applause provided the soundtrack to his entrance. He walked slowly down the side aisle, pausing for hugs and handshakes.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi quickly made her way over to say hello, as the line of well-wishers grew. The last time Mr. Gore walked into the House chamber was on the day he certified the vote that sent George W. Bush to the White House and himself into a second career."

100k Sig's within a day? Even that shocked me. But obviously it means it can be done. With the right message, the person to carry the message and the will to get active.
Al Gore sent an email out last Friday asking if we could reach 350,000 signatures for him to bring with him to DC on Wednesday, the 21st of March when he testifies on Global Warming from the current 294,000. That number jumped higher and faster than even he expected.
With this excitement, he's asked if we can meet another challenge. Can we get to 500,000 Signatures by tomorrow evening?
Can we email everyone else we forgot to the last time and help Al Gore get to that 500K?
Come on...who's in your address book?
Al Gore has has approximately 300,000 signatures to bring with him when he goes to testify before Congress next week.
Can we help him reach 350,000?
President Clinton,
You are known for saying "You fall in love in the Primary, but you fall in LINE for the General".
Are you holding Joe Lieberman to those same standards, being you are going to Connecticut to stump for him in the Primary election? I mean, surely someone who preaches such profound practices would do the same and expect whom ever you were to campaign for, follow the same golden standard.
So, does this mean Joe Lieberman has decided to drop his Independent run, even if he loses the Democratic Primary? Or did you change your standards for yourself?
Bush is coming to town. Yep Thursday afternoon Bush bears down on Cincinnati, suburb Indian Hill to be precise.
Bush is making a visit to raise money for Senator DeWine. The cost for their friends to attend is $4,200.00 per person and $10,000.00 to take a photo with Bush.
Now, us taxpayers get to foot the bill of this guy flying around the country for his special events and these wealthy contributors flock to give incredible amounts of money to have a photo taken with the President, but the money goes to candidates or their party. The President even designates his father and former President Clinton to raise money from individuals for Katrina victims, but he won't.
Bush is having another temper tantrum. Any time he gets wind that the party may break from his dictate, he has a temper tantrum and threatens to veto.
His latest threat was only a couples months ago (although media seems to have a short memory and forgets his past threats).
As a matter of fact, Bush was DETERMINED he would not authorize an EXTENSION on the Patriot Act. He said "renew it or let it run out. No extensions." When that didn't work, Bush immediately signed a 1 month extension.
DOPE!
I am asking Sherrod Brown to leave the Senate Race and to keep his Congressional Seat that he knows he has a good chance in retaining.
Rep. Brown, we are after all trying to GAIN seats, not lose them. And I feel your dirty tricks in trying to strong arm your opponent in the Primary to leave the race is very bad for the party. You are alienating voters, not bringing them in.
From before you entered the race, 2 months after announcing that you would NOT run for the Senate, you started trying to push out Paul Hackett by claiming you solved the grassroots support problem. Then days later, it was that Paul Hackett should leave the Senate Race.
